Le Placard (プラカー) is a music event centered in France/Paris that continues each summer, moving around the world. Since 1998, it has been held in various locations centered in Europe including Paris, London, Berlin, Helsinki, Rotterdam, and Barcelona. This event, titled Headphone Music Festival, has no speakers in the venue, and audiences listen to performances through headphones. The performances are streamed live on the Internet and shared across Le Placard venues around the world that are held simultaneously. Participants from various countries can also chat with each other.
Also, the program and timetable are not predetermined from the beginning, but are gradually created as musicians themselves register from the Internet. This creates unique sessions spanning a very wide area.
Musience (Musician + Audience) scattered across cities around the world listen to the same "music" at the same time, mediated by headphones, an icon of electronic music.
